Theatre and performing allow a person to explore who they want to be, just ask Hamlet. Patti Townsend started performing at a young age exploring various roles on the stage. She switched roles when she discovered that she could inspire a new generation becoming a teacher, mentor and director. She developed a Dramatic Arts program for high school students, directing several Shakespeare productions, travelling Children's Theatre productions including
The Lorax using drama to heighten environmental awareness and Earth Day. She remains actively involved in her community as audience and participant. "To thine own self, be true."
