Competitors must not enter a class below their current grade/level of study; they may however enter one class one grade higher than current level of study.

The Festival reserves the right to reject any material that it deems inappropriate.
The use of dramatic movement and gestures appropriate to the character/performer are encouraged, as are costumes, but are not mandatory.
It is required that anyone wishing to qualify for a scholarship perform in TWO or more solo classes in the same discipline.

Participants perform for and work with the adjudicator within a class setting. Workshops will be scheduled upon completion of the English speech arts discipline. No marks will be awarded, and each participant will receive a certificate of merit.
