2025 Syllabus - French Immersion
Competitors may enter classes in only one of the French disciplines.
All text pieces must be memorized unless otherwise stated.
The use of dramatic movement and gestures appropriate to the character/performer are encouraged, as are costumes, but are not mandatory.
Group - Prose or Poetry
Minimum of 5 voices, maximum of 30. Choral recitation should use a conductor. The conductor should be standing in front of the group he/she is conducting (in a manner similar to a vocal/choral conductor). A classroom comprised of more than one grade must enter the class indicating the higher grade. An alternative would be to enter each grade within the classroom, at its own appropriate class level.
